The South Peace Community Multiplex is located at 300 Highway 2, west of the Dawson Creek Regional Airport.
The South Peace Community Multiplex is a fantastic facility that will be the center of attraction for the community and region. The complex has three specific components:
FUTURE PLANNED AMENITIES:
- Conference and Meeting facility able to accommodate 200 delegates/participants
- 2,500 seated banquet space in the Event Centre
- Concession and food services area to serve entire Multiplex
- 14,000 sq. ft. Fitness/Wellness Centre including 4 squash/racquetball courts
- 45 ft. high Climbing Wall
- Easy access off Highway 2
- Parking for major events with plenty of special needs parking and dedicated truck and trailer rig parking spaces
- Outdoor running track
- Incorporation of transit access points and trail system
- Washrooms and showers for all three components
- Children’s program and play/party room
- Commercial lease/retail opportunities
The Kenn Borek Aquatic Centre and Lakota Agri Centre are now open. The EnCana Centre is slated to open in the spring of 2008. Please have a look at the Photos & Video to stay up-to-date on the progress.
